Josefus Dead Man

Josefus Dead Man

Check out this Josefus Dead Man LP.

Josefus were one of the initial American bands to bridge late-'60s hard rock with early-'70s heavy metal. Banned from the Houston's club "Love Street Light Circus", which was much affiliated to the local big record company International Artist (home of 13th Floor Elevators), they started playing free concerts until they got a record deal in 1969. Their two albums, both released in 1970, were extremely influenced by the 13th Floor Elevators and early Led Zeppelin.
